What is your Address?
925 N. Garfield St. Arlington VA.
Please note that the entrance to The Board Room is at the corner of 10th and Washington Streets, around the corner from the mailing address. The entrance to Ms. Peacock’s Champagne Lounge is on Garfield Street.
Is there Parking on site?
There is street parking in the surrounding area as well as a Colonial Parking Garage under the building. The entrance to the garage is on Garfield Street and offers a $4 flat rate after 5 p.m. weekdays and for all hours on the weekends.
Are you close to the Metro?
Yes. The Board Room is located 3 blocks from the Clarendon Station.
Do I need a reservation?
Unfortunately, we are unable to take any reservations during our prime weekend hours (Friday from 6:00 – 11:00pm and Saturday from 4:00pm – 12am) and operate strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis. We do have a couple private party areas which can be rented out, and if you are interested in that option please fill out our party reservation form.
During non-peak times and most Sundays-Thursdays, and especially if you have a larger group or party, we highly recommend contacting us so that we know when to expect you and can try to accommodate your group best.
May I bring food in like I can at the DC location?
No. The Board Room VA has a full kitchen and outside food is not permitted. However, since we do not make or offer cakes, for reserved parties you are welcome to work with our event’s manager and bring in one yourself.
Do you offer Gluten Free or Vegetarian options on your menu?
Yes. But because we are a bar first and we are not trying to compete with the fine dining restaurants in the area, it is not an extensive list. However, there are more options on Ms Peacock’s menu, so if you are in The Board Room and would like to look at that menu, please ask as we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.
*** Please note that we also offer some organic choices in wine ***
Can I bring in my own board game?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring in your own games and let us know any suggestions you have about adding to our inventory.
Do I have to be 21 to play games at The Board Room?
Usually. During day-time business hours on the weekend, we will try to accommodate guests under 21. Please contact us if it is in reference to a party you will be hosting or another time period.
